Interested in meditation and spiritual discussions with others? We can help you set up a meditation group in your area. Here are some ideas for an interesting and inspiring program: - Have people bring poetry or music to share with the group that they find uplifting. Art can be a powerful aid to shifting the mind to a more subtle state of consciousness.
- Begin by practicing meditative dance (kiirtan) for 15 minutes.
- Depending on the experience of the group, plan to meditate silently for 10 to 45 minutes.
- You can end the meditation by ringing a soft chime.
- Meditation can be followed by reading of a section of a spiritually themed book. See the suggested reading section for ideas.
